Is a hair system a wig or toupee?

We hear this question a lot. Toupees tend to have a very negative stigma attached to them. While the concept of a toupee was great, let’s face it a lot of them just didn’t look that great and people feared wearing them as a result! Our hair systems are made with new technology based off the same concept. What makes our solution different and better than older methods is that the system is made from 100% human hair, so they look natural and each is customized to fit each client so it completely blends in with the client’s natural hair instead of standing out.

How PRP Naturally Works for Hair Growth

Once injected in the dermal layer, platelets are activated, they inflate and grow factors are released.

The most important growth factors for hair applications are:

Platelet derived growth factor (PDGF) Stimulates dermal mesenchyme-epidermal follicle interaction (promotes new cell connectivity tissue).

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEG) Creates neoangiogenesis, increases and improves hair growth and hair size.

Epidermal growth factor (EGF) stimulates mitosis of epithelial cells and fibroblast, and improves the rate of anagen, the active growth phase of hair follicles.

Insulin like growth factor (IGF) slows down apoptosis or simply cells death.

Fibroblast growth factor (FGF) Stimulates the proliferation and differentiation of keratinocytes and endothelial cells (the key protein for hair keratin production).

®Nerve growth factor (NGF) Strongly stimulates hair growth and slow down cell death. This makes hair last longer and stronger.
